"WELL SUZYN, IN LIFE ALL GOOD THINGS
COME TO AN END..."
Yes, folks, it's true. Our time in Medford is finally over.
We had, by my count, an 8 year run, with upwards of 2,500 visitors in
that time. We topped out last year with 450 people. And we
couldn't have been happier with our time there.
HOWEVER! Kelly
and Steve, the lovely and
delightful owners of the house, have had an even lovelier and more
delightful gift: TWINS! So, it is with great regret that we've
decided to move our festivities. Our apologies to all involved,
but the time has come.
* Please note
that this is only a YARD HAUNT *
* NOT a Haunted
House *
MUMMIES!
What do we have in store for this year?! Well, although the Pirates seemed
like a big hit last Halloween, we HATE to do the same,
boring thing from year to year! So, this year w're going to be doing
Mummies!
Come on by! Collect your treasure and join the festivities at:
68 Brookwood Road, Hanover, MA
This will be our first Halloween ever at the Hanover location, so we're
hoping for a good sized turnout:
If you're interested in the house itself on Brookwood road, here are
some things which may interest you:
- How did this whole thing get
started?
- Who are these people that
make the house happen?
- How do some of the effects
work?
- What is the back story
behind the hauntings?
|
SO WHAT NOW?!
Well, we've moved to Hanover. The delightful
Rusty has graciously
offered up her home - which happens to also be the childhood homes of
both Lesley and
Jeff.
INTRODUCING INDIANA JONES AND THE MUMMY
in ‘08

Friday the 31st is almost here!
Perhaps you traveled to South America with
Indiana Jones in
search of the Crystal Skulls, this year? Or maybe you went to China
with Rick O’Connell in “The
Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor”.
2008 promises to introduce a few more characters and ghouls. But,
don’t worry R2D2,
Mrs. Bates, ghosts and ghouls will still be there. Perhaps you’ll
still be able to get a glimpse of
Freddie Krueger
or Michael Myers.
Keep your eyes peeled!
Even though there are fewer pirates there still may be some treasure
to be found… and of course candy. Don’t forget this is a YARD HAUNT
and not a haunted house. There is no party or entrance into the house.
We're just a bunch of overgrown kids who really like making children
smile at Halloween. It was only one knucklehead on a roof 10 years ago
(see the story here)
So, stop by - look around - hopefully you'll like what you see and you
won’t get too scared. Muuhhaahahaha.

WHEN IS ALL OF THIS HAPPENING?
- Setting up (Friday, October 31)
If you'd like to see us set up, we'll be assembling things on and off
throughout the afternoon weekend. Feel free to stop by and ask any
questions. We'd love to talk with you about the house.
We're going to keep things relatively tame for the younger ones before
6pm. That will be a good time to bring the youngsters by. It should still
be light enough to get some nice pictures, and maybe try a treasure hunt or
two.
Once 6pm hits, we're going to bring out the big guns. The scary music,
Freddy, Jason and the rest will be on the prowl. Although we'll still have
the Treasure Hunt and some other tame things going on, it may be a little
intense for some of the younger folks. As always, your judgment is the best
guidance. |
